Jon Husted Simply Running Away with Secretary of State Race

Ohio Republican Secretary of State candidate Jon Husted announced today that he has banked over $2 million in cash for his race.  WOW.

At this time exactly four years ago, Jennifer Brunner, who went on to win the race, reported just a little over $184,000 on hand.  The unsuccessful Republican candidate, Greg Hartmann reported just over $386,000 on hand.

Jennifer Garrison, who is the presumptive Democrat nominee has not yet reported.  She reported a little over $182,000 on hand back in July of 2009.  The question for Jen Garrison at this point is whether she actually runs or not.

Wow. A great candidate for a thankless job. Sometimes I think the SOS office is an 'outside job with a lot of heavy lifting.' But kudos to Husted.
