SWAT Team Breaks Down Door in Middle of Night, Kills Family Dog, All for Misdemeanor Drug Charge
This dramatic and shocking video shows the Columbia MO SWAT team breaking down a door in the middle of the night to execute a drug warrant. Upon entering the home they shoot the family dog multiple times until it is dead. The other family dog was wounded. These events were all witnessed by the individual's seven year old child.
All that was found in the search was a misdemeanor amount of marijuana and a glass pipe. The resident plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a newspaper's first report in February, “SWAT members encountered a pit bull upon entry, held back and then fatally shot the dog, which officers said was acting in an uncontrollably aggressive manner.”
Most dogs will do that when you break into their family's homes in the middle of the night!
This is only one of the many reasons why I oppose legislation to give law enforcement officials more authority. The Arizona Immigration Bill is just the start of much worse to come. HT to The Daily Caller.

Yeah, what doe any reasonable person expect a dog to do? These Gestapo-like tactics are outrageous and becoming commonplace. I'm beginning to agree with the ACLU on a lot of things.
