I agree with Kasich on this one. There are lots of idiotic cops and other law enforcement people out there. Besides, he is the Governor of Ohio and is Louis XVI, lol!

I'm not one of Sen Grendell's biggest fans, to say the least, but this is just silly.

When one says that something they did helps someone politically it does not necessarily make that thing purely politically motivated.

I did not vote for Kasich and will never support him, he did Ohio a great disservice by not supporting the railroad. Did not like his abrasive attitude when campaigning.

The damage is the same whether the false statements were made with intent to deceive or whether they were made due to poor preparation.

Personally, I would avoid the word "lie.'

I once accused a municipal judge of lying in an affidavit, but in all probability, he signed an affidavit containing a misstatement of fact, prepared by an appellate attorney re an event at arraignment before a different prosecuting attorney.
